“Miss Mary’s Place” Guidelines

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • FREE Child Care for members children: $5.00 fee for guests
  • All parents must sign their children in and out of Miss Mary’s Place
    • A wristband is given to the parent and child with the same # as on sign in sheet
    • No child will be released unless the wristbands #’s match up or the parent puts in writing (at the time of drop off) that another person will pick up child - picture ID is required at time of pick up
    • In the case that someone is attempting to pick up a child w/ no wristband or the parent did not leave written documentation that another person would be picking up their child, the person that dropped off the child will immediately be contacted for approval
  • All children must remain in Miss Mary’s Place.  If a parent is needed, staff will get them.
  • Toilet training is an ongoing requirement for staff to perform
  • No small objects or toys with loose batteries are allowed
  • Parents using diaper bags for their children are required to mark with child’s name/photo
  • Due to choking hazards and allergies please do not bring in apples, raisins, peanuts/peanut butter, popcorn, grapes, nuts, raw vegetables and gum
  • Parents are not encouraged to remain in Miss Mary’s as it may be difficult to maintain order with parents present
  • Members may leave children in Miss Mary’s for no more than 2 ½ hours
  • Staff is required to play games, read, work puzzles and play in a racquetball court

         (if accessible prior to 5pm)

  • No sharp objects are ever kept in the Miss Mary’s Place

 

ACCIDENTS/INCIDENTS/EMERGENCIES

  • NO medication of any kind is given to children
  • Band-Aids are kept at the front desk
  • Accident forms at front desk may be filled out by staff members present at time of incident
  • Parents must be told of any incidents that occurs involving their child
    • An incident report will also be filled out and filed in the Miss Mary’s Place

 

MEMBERS

  • Please do not have any children on the Fitness Floor, Free Weight area, Cardio and Front Desk Area
  • The cost for off premise baby sitting is $8.00 per child and $2 each additional per hour not exceeding 2 ½ consecutive hours
